Sustainability

THCS has extensive experience with regard to Environmentally Sustainable Design, in areas such as; solar hot water, rainwater and stormwater harvesting and re-use, grey water collection treatment and re-use, water conservation, etc.  These skills have been successfully applied in the support of many commercial and education projects seeking Green Star Design and As Built ratings.

Methodology

In any project THCS place the highest priority on making a proactive and assertive effort into determining and resolving the key servicing elements and the associated opportunities and constraints that will be imposed on the development.

Once construction has commenced onsite, THCS believe that in order to effect the successful implementation of the design and design intent it is essential to actively participate in the construction process. This involves more than simply inspecting the work; it requires an interactive relationship with the construction managers and the hydraulic services subcontractor to form a team approach focused on the common goal of delivering a quality building to the client. A cooperative environment of open communication, allows rapid and effective resolution of construction difficulties, and value adds to the construction process and the quality of the end installation.
